2017 Season Ticket Renewal

ALLEN PARK -- The bad news for Detroit Lions fans is season-ticket prices are going up again at Ford FIeld.
But there is good news: The overall increase is just 2.8 percent, a four-year low, and roughly half the seats won't be affected at all according to the team. The average per-game cost for season tickets will be about $99, up from $96 last year.
Tickets most affected by the increase will be for premium seats, including clubs, suites and other high-value locations, including seats near the fronts of sections and midfield.
Detroit had raised prices by 7.4 percent last year, 4.1 percent in 2014 and 8.2 percent in 2013. And president Rod Wood said to expect more increases as the team tries to remain competitive. (It ranked 24th last year in average ticket price.)
Wood社長は
About 30,000 seats -- almost 50 percent of the stadium -- (will be) the same or lower-priced than they were last year," Wood said. "We're still in the bottom half of the NFL (in average price). I'm very sensitive to what it costs to come to a game and want to make it affordable, because we do want our stadium to be full and we want it to create the home-field advantage.
"So we tried to be very strategic and not price ourselves out of the market, but also price up where we could, based on demand. So it was more strategic than just an across-the-board price increase."
